making a gummy vegan presents an interesting problem: most gummies are made with gelatin, which is essentially melted animal bones. how do you get around this? we get around it by using pectin, which is a fibre derived from fruits, and organic soy lecithin. even our gelling agents are natural.
we see a lot of gummies that are "naturally sweetened," which often means "bitter." not us. we are using one of the most innovative sweeteners, tapioca syrup derived from cassava root. of course, our version is organic!
